$111,300 in Scholarships Awarded
Today, we are celebrating students and the bright futures ahead of them.
In 2026, Jolt’s Monsignor Forbes Scholarship Trustees awarded an incredible $111,300 in scholarships to 176 members. That is 176 students taking meaningful steps toward their futures, whether that means college, trade school, or postgraduate study. Different paths, same drive to move forward.
It is no secret that pursuing education after high school can be expensive. That is why scholarships like this matter. For Jolt members, the Monsignor Forbes Scholarship offers a powerful opportunity to offset those costs and keep moving toward their goals.
Established in 1982 in honor of former board member Monsignor Eugene Forbes, the scholarship reflects his deep commitment to encouraging young adults to continue their education. And the impact speaks for itself. Since its founding, more than $2.6 million has been awarded to support students on their educational journeys.
The Monsignor Forbes Scholarship is open to all Jolt members who are planning to attend or are currently enrolled in a college, university, community college, or trade or technical school. Recipients are selected based on personal achievements, academic success, financial need, community service, and grade point average. It is about recognizing hard work, potential, and dedication across all paths.
To this year’s recipients, your next chapter is here. Now go get it.
Applicants should check their inbox for updates. And to everyone who supports this mission, thank you for helping make opportunities like this possible.
