Community for Good: Child Abuse and Neglect Council

Some work doesn’t just make a difference, it changes lives.

For decades, the CAN Council has been a powerful force in protecting children, supporting families, and standing up for those who need it most in our community.

We were proud to present a $5,000 donation to the CAN Council at their Mardi Gras fundraiser, an event that not only celebrates community, but provides funding to fuel critical work happening every single day.

From prevention and education to advocacy and support, the CAN Council is there, often behind the scenes, doing the necessary work to keep children safe and families strong.

Seeing this kind of impact inspired us. Jolt was proud to support CAN Council with a $5,000 donation, as part of our $75,000 For GOOD year-end initiative.

As we celebrate seven decades of impact in 2026, CAN Council is a reminder that looking back only matters if it fuels what comes next. Throughout our anniversary year, we’ll be highlighting the 15 nonprofit partners who each received $5,000, sharing their stories and the tangible difference they make every day.

After 70 years in, one thing is true: community isn’t something we say. It’s something we do.
