Community for Good: Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan

Some battles aren’t seen, but they’re fought every single day.

Epilepsy is the fourth most common neurological disorder in the United States affecting more people than multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and cerebral palsy combined.
1 in 26 people will develop epilepsy in their lifetime. 1 in 10 will experience a seizure.

This isn’t rare. It’s just not always visible. And for many, it’s something they navigate quietly, every single day. That’s why organizations like the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan matter so much.

From education and advocacy to direct support for individuals and families, they are a steady, trusted resource, helping people better understand epilepsy and live confidently with it.

We were proud to support that work with a $5,000 donation, as part of our $75,000 For GOOD year-end initiative.

As we celebrate seven decades of impact in 2026, organizations like the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan remind us that looking back only matters if it fuels what comes next.

Throughout our anniversary year, we’ll be highlighting the 15 nonprofit partners who each received $5,000, sharing their stories and the tangible difference they make every day.

After 70 years in, one thing is still true: community isn’t something we say. It’s something we do
