What do you say about an organization that opens its doors when someone has nowhere else to turn? You say THANK YOU!

For more than 35 years, Shelterhouse of Midland has been providing emergency shelter and hope to individuals and families experiencing homelessness. But their work goes far beyond providing a place to sleep. Shelterhouse helps people rebuild their lives with dignity and the support they need to move forward.

Every day, Shelterhouse serves people who are navigating job loss, housing insecurity, family problems, health issues, and other unexpected ways life life’s on people . Through emergency shelter, housing programs, and compassionate support services, they help turn incredibly challenging times into one of hope.

Seeing this kind of impact inspired us. Jolt was proud to support Shelterhouse of Midland with a $5,000 donation as part of our 2025 $75,000 For GOOD year-end initiative.

As we celebrate seven decades of impact in 2026, Shelterhouse is a reminder that strong communities are built when people care for one another, especially during the most challenging times. Throughout our anniversary year, we’ve been highlighting the 15 nonprofit partners who each received $5,000, sharing their stories and the difference they make every day.

After 70 years, one thing is clear, community isn’t something we say. It’s something we do.
