Mission to a Movement
As we enter 2026, we kick off Jolt Credit Union’s 70th Anniversary. From our start as St. Mary’s Cathedral Federal Credit Union in 1956, through our years as Catholic Federal, and now as Jolt, our purpose has stayed the same, to make life better for our members. Leaders like Msgr. Harold J. Bolton, Msgr. Eugene A. Forbes, Joseph Garcia, Bob Adams, and Board Chair Robert J. Looby (serving since 1992) helped build the strong, people-first foundation we continue to grow today.
We’re excited to bring even more value into this milestone year. Last January, we launched our Jolt Ignite! Cash Back Visa with 2%* unlimited cash back on everything, and to support members during the holidays, we increased that to 5% from November through January. We’ve returned over $5.2 million to our Kasasa members, and many are already benefiting from our Take-Back Loan, which lets you pay extra on your Jolt auto or personal loan and take back those extra payments later if needed.
We’re also proud to continue our partnership with the Saginaw Spirit through the Jolt Celebration Club, formerly the Red Room. Renaming the space keeps our name in the heart of the city where the community gathers.

We have a full year of celebration ahead, beginning with the first quarter highlights inside this newsletter, and we hope you’ll join us at our Annual Meeting in April. It’s inspiring to see how far we’ve come, from a handful of parishioners pooling resources to a movement. For People. For Purpose. For GOOD.
