Zoo Boo - 2026
Little Costumes. Big Zoo Memories.
Ask a little one about Halloween and you’d better have a minute. Or five. There’s a costume to explain, last year’s candy haul to recount, and a very important detail they forgot to tell you. For four weekends, Zoo Boo at the Saginaw Children’s Zoo gave all that excitement somewhere to go.
Our Jolt crew spent more than 160 volunteer hours right where the fun began: welcoming families at the zoo entrance. We handed out treat bags and had a front-row seat to a costume parade that never got old. Tiny superheroes. Serious princesses. Little monsters feeling shy behind a grown-up’s legs. Underneath every cape and oversized crown was a little one giving the rest of us something to smile about.
Halloween has become so much more than one night. It’s a whole month of chances to say yes to the costume, the outing, the popcorn, the extra ride. And for parents, grandparents or caregivers, a chance to savor this time when they’re still happy to hold your hand.
We love being part of so many family memories. Thank you for making a few more with us. We’ll see you next October!
